ADVERTISING & MARKETING PROGRAMS
Chamber membership includes a free professional listing in the annual Smith Mountain Lake Visitors & Newcomers Guide. Our ongoing campaign is focused on promoting the lake as a premier destination through proactive advertising and marketing. You'll find our marketing in publications such as the Virginia Travel Guide, Blue Ridge Parkway Guide, Blue Ridge Country, Shenandoah Valley Guide and many more. In addition, the chamber provides brochures to Visitor Centers, Chambers and tourist attractions throughout the surrounding states.
THE VISITOR CENTER
The Chamber operates a state certified Visitor Center open 6-days a week and fulfilling 30,000 informational inquiries annually. Members are encouraged to display their business cards and/or brochures or to purchase wall advertising space at the Visitor Center.
